Hampton Cove Community Open Benefits REACH

The 1st Annual Golf Day for Charity at The Links at Hampton Cove on August 11, 2018 was a terrific success! This fundraiser for REACH was organized by Glenn Issler, Michael Lepore and The Links at Hampton Cove’s Earl Francis. Commenting on how the event first came to be, Issler says, “3 neighbours got together for coffee, made some notes on a napkin, and this terrific community event was born. It all happened very quickly.” The Organizing Sponsors paid the green fees, and sponsorships and donations totaled in excess of $9,000 . Highlights included ladies and men’s hole-in-one prizes of $10,000 each, Individuals Tournament, a Partners Best Ball (within a foursome), and a Family Scramble. The Reach Family Fun area, and Ladner Trivia Tour with a focus to local heritage rounded out the day’s fun. View event photos on line at the Delta Optimist HERE.
