We’re thrilled to announce that one of our families is spearheading an awareness walk for Williams Syndrome on Saturday, May 11th, at Memorial Park: Walk for the CAWS (Canadian Association for Williams Syndrome). Last year’s event was fantastic, and we’re hoping to see as many families join us again this year. Expect a day filled with live music, bouncy castles, face painting, games, and an incredible raffle featuring prizes like hockey tickets, gift cards to local eateries and breweries, and a luxurious three-night stay at a Tofino Airbnb. Proceeds from the walk will go towards vital programs such as virtual music therapy, scholarships for WS camps, parent education and support sessions both in-person and online, as well as local community events. Adult tickets are priced at $25, while child tickets are $10, inclusive of a BBQ lunch, a commemorative t-shirt, entertainment, and more!
