The Community Services Recovery Fund (CSRF) is a $400 million investment from the Government of Canada to support community service organizations, including charities, non-profits and Indigenous governing bodies, as they adapt and modernize their organizations.
Now more than ever, community service organizations play a key role in addressing complex social problems faced by many communities across Canada. Locally, five organizations received grants from the CSRF – Delta Community Living Society, Sahas Community Services Society, 140 Sports Association, Burns Bog Conservation Society and Reach child and Youth Development Society.
At REACH, the CSRF grant received helped with technology upgrades that gave us the ability to conference and collaborate with staff and families to ensure that REACH can maintain accessibility, timely responses, and program designs that are top quality, sustainable, inclusive, and include the families, multiple therapists at once, and tailor to individual child needs fully.
