Reach Society’s ‘Wishes and Wonder’ Gala, June 1, 2024 delivered an evening of magic and whimsy and raised over $145,000. “REACH is dedicated to improving quality of life for families”, says Tamara Veitch, Reach Society Events Coordinator. “This year’s Gala is dedicated to ensuring childhood is a place of wonder, where wishes do come true.” Extending thanks to REALCO Properties as Major Donor, Vancouver Fraser Port Authority as Presenting Sponsor and Beedie as Platinum Sponsor for their dedicated support to children with needs.
Steve Darling was our emcee and Ian Paton, MLA our auctioneer. Delta Youth Theatre actors brought Alice in Wonderland to life and our family videos and parent presenters provided guests with an inside look at their lives. Musical performers Tiana Schellenberg-Hamilton and dad Chris Hamilton received a standing ovation.
