- Home visits are required. This position requires that the SLP have a valid BC Driver’s license and a vehicle for transportation to families’ homes, staff meetings, training and community settings.

Reach Developmental Preschool (North Delta) is looking for a licensed Early Childhood Educator with Special Needs Certification to join our team! If you have a passion for working with children and families and are committed to delivering a quality, caring and supportive child care program that addresses the child and family’s unique needs, we would love to hear from you!
Requirements:
- Availability Monday to Friday, minimum 27.5 hours per week
- Current ECE Certificate and post basic Special Needs Certificate
- Minimum of one year of experience preferred
- Experience working in an inclusive program
- Knowledge and understanding of the B.C. Early Learning Framework
- Program planning and implementation of the daily curriculum
- Building family relations
- Working within a team framework to meet the needs of the children and families
- Supervising support staff
- Working collaboratively with the Preschool Coordinator and therapists as needed
- An organization with a positive culture and passionate staff
- Strong community presence
- Play-based programming that embraces the principles of the BC Early Learning Framework and Live 5-2-1-0 program
- Starting wage at $21.00 per hour plus $6.00 per hour Wage Enhancement
- Total compensation that includes: Extended Health Benefits plan (including Dental), Municipal Pension Plan (subject to eligibility), generous vacation entitlement, sick time accrual and statutory holiday pay.
